State Secretary at the Serbian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy Zoran Martinovic today opened a social work centre office in the village of Vraniste, near Dragas.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, more than 8,000 Gorani live in the area of Gora, and the most vulnerable groups among them have until now used social services provided at the social work centre in Strpce which is 50 kilometres away.
Martinovic stressed that the opening of the office will make it easier and safer for residents in this part of Kosovo-Metohija to avail of social services.
The Ministry has equipped the office for social workers who will work with residents on a daily basis, reads the statement.
