Agreement signed on co-financing of Nova Varos waste depot

Serbian Minister of Environmental Protection Sasa Dragin and municipal president of Nova Varos Branislav Dilparic signed an agreement today on co-financing the construction of a regional waste depot in Nova Varos.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the agreement is on financing works during the first phase of construction of a regional depot for solid communal waste for the municipalities of Nova Varos, Priboj, Prijepolje and Sjenica.
The agreement is worth RSD 26 million and funds were provided from the National Investment Plan for this year.
Thus the ministry is actively taking part in resolving the issue of communal waste in the territory mentioned, which will contribute to the improvement of ecological, sanitary, economic and social conditions necessary for protecting the environment.
