Serbia sends protest note to Canada over Kosovo recognition

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent today a protest note to the Canadian government over its recognition of unilateral independence declared by Kosovo-Metohija.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that in line with its action plan, adopted at the Serbian government session, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic recalled Serbian Ambassador to Canada Dusan Batakovic.
The Ambassador is to leave the host country within 48 hours after delivering the protest note and return to Belgrade for consultations until further notice, adds the statement.
