Department of Philosophy at Lisbon University introduces Serbian language course

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that yesterday the Department of Philosophy at the University of Lisbon began a Serbian language course, which is the first of its kind in Portugal.
According to the statement, Serbian ambassador in Lisbon Dusko Lopandic presented a donation by the Serbian Ministry of Culture, the Serbian National Library and the City of Belgrade to Dean of the Philosophy Department in Lisbon Alvaro Pini, which consists of Serbian literature, art and history books.
The course has been organised in cooperation with the Department of Philosophy at the University of Lisbon, the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade and the Serbian embassy in Lisbon.
The ceremony to mark the beginning of the course was attended by students and professors at the faculty, students who enrolled for the course, representatives of the Serbian Foreign Ministry. The film The Professional (Profesionalac) by Dusan Kovacevic was screened at the occasion.
