Serbia sends protest notes to the Netherlands and Sweden

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent protest notes to the governments of the Netherlands and Sweden due to their recognition of Kosovo’s independence.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic, in accordance with the Ministry's action plan, urged the recall of Serbian Ambassador to the Netherlands Radoslav Stojanovic, as well as Serbian Ambassador to Sweden Ninoslav Stojadinovic.
The ambassadors should leave the host country within 48 hours from the time of handing over the protest note by the Serbian Foreign Ministry, and return to Serbia for consultations until further steps are decided.
