Arms industry development strategy to be revised by June

Serbian Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic and Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac discussed today with representatives of the arms industry the problems that arms makers are facing as well as ways to solve the problems.

According to a statement, every military company will submit its business operation programme by the end of the month.
The programme should contain basic elements that would help set specific measures to be taken in order for company operations to be successful. The measures should include the social programme and the necessary level of investment.
The two ministries will revise the development strategy for the arms industry in Serbia by June and will take specific steps to establish a fund for the development of the arms industry in Serbia.
