The Serbian Ministry of Defence stated that Defence Minister Dragan Sutanovac talked today with Political Director at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kai Eide and informed him about Serbia’s state policy on the issue of Kosovo-Metohija.
According to the statement, Sutanovac said at the meeting held in Belgrade that the priority is to preserve peace and stability, and that Serbia is relying on the guarantee that KFOR will protect Serbs and other non-Albanians in Kosovo-Metohija.
Sutanovac appreciated the fact that KFOR is working in accordance with Resolution 1244 and has proven itself to be neutral regarding the question of the status of Kosovo-Metohija.
