Serbia sends protest notes to Poland, Switzerland, Austria

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent protest notes today to the governments of Poland, Switzerland and Austria for recognising the unilateral declaration of independence by Kosovo-Metohija.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic, in accordance with the government’s action plan, urged the recall of Serbian Ambassador to Austria Dragan Velikic as well as Serbian Ambassador to Switzerland Dragan Marsicanin.
The ambassadors should leave the host country within 48 hours from the time of handing over the protest note by the Serbian Foreign Ministry, and return to Serbia for consultations until further steps are decided.
