February 21, day-off for schools in Serbia

Respect to the will of Serbian citizens, as well as in accordance with the government policy and the law, the Serbian Ministry of Education decided to declare February 21 a day-off for all schools in Serbia.
The statement adds that the Ministry made this decision in order to enable teachers from all over Serbia to attend the mass protest in Belgrade, themed “Kosovo is Serbia”, against the unilateral and illegal declaration of independence by the southern Serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija.
