Protest conveyed to France, Britain, Costa Rica, Australia, Albania

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed today letters of protest to the governments of France, Britain, Costa Rica, Australia and Albania after these countries recognised the unilateral declaration of independence by Kosovo-Metohija.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Vuk Jeremic, in accordance with the ministry’s Action Plan adopted by the Serbian government, today recommended the urgent recall of Serbian Ambassador to Australia Milivoje Glisic.
The Ambassador must leave the country within 48 hours from the time of handing over the letter of protest by the Serbian Foreign Ministry, and return to Serbia for consultations until further steps are decided.
