Serbian Ambassador to Finland presents Letter of Credence to Tarja Halonen

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated today that Serbian Ambassador to Finland Vera Mavric has presented her Letter of Credence to Finnish President Tarja Halonen.
The statement adds that following the official ceremony, Halonen stressed the importance of Serbia’s further EU integration, which Finland fully supports.
Mavric and Halonen also discussed the issue of the future status of Kosovo-Metohija and agreed that it is in their countries’ mutual interest to improve their overall bilateral relations and cooperation.
