Popovic to attend Prayer Breakfast in Washington

Deputy President of the Coordinating Body for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja Nenad Popovic will travel to Washington DC to attend the traditional Prayer Breakfast organised by the US President.

The Prayer Breakfast is attended by political and business leaders as well as prominent persons from 160 countries of the world who will exchange opinion on current topics and problems in international relations.
The main topics of talks of Popovic and other Serbian representatives at the Prayer Breakfast will be status of Kosovo-Metohija and Serbian government's plan for economic development of the south of Serbia that will provide peace and stability of this part of Serbia.
Popovic will meet with congressmen and senators and will repeat well-known positions defined in the Serbian Constitution and Serbian parliament's Resolution that independence of Kosovo-Metohija is unacceptable and that Serbia pledges in favour of continuation of talks until a compromise is reached.
Apart from Popovic, the Prayer Breakfast will also be attended by former foreign minister Vuk Draskovic, according to a statement.
