Payment of additional severance pay to former employees of Robne Kuce Beograd begins

The Serbian Ministry of Economy and Regional Development stated today that the payment of additional severance pay to 11,281 former employees of Robne Kuce Beograd department store has begun.
Severance pay ranges from RSD 11,000 to RSD 380,000 depending on the number of years of service, but the average amount of severance pay is RSD 200,000.
Funds to pay the employees of Robne Kuce Beograd was provided from the sale of this company at a public auction, where the asking price was €140 million, and the company was sold for €360 million.
Bearing in mind that the sale price was much higher than the asking price, the government adopted the proposal of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development to distribute a portion of the surplus to former employees of Robne Kuce Beograd in the form of special severance pay, recalls the statement.
