We believe that the police and gendarmerie are taking good care of the safety of all Serbian citizens and ensuring complete safety not only in the ground safety zone but also on the entire territory of Serbia, Jocic told the press following a visit to the gendarmerie base Usi near Bujanovac.
According to Jocic, the Ministry and all its members are doing their job in a professional manner and are ready to immediately carry out any order of the state top officials.
Chief of Police Milorad Veljovic said that gendarmerie carries out its duties in the ground safety zone properly and responsibly and thus shows that the Ministry of Interior is "the pillar of the state".
