The National Council for Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) brought a decision at its 15th session today to provide documents and respond to five demands by the tribunal’s prosecution office.
Positive response was given to 15 requests by the defence, which regarded submission of documents necessary for preparing defence.
The National Council will in 2008 hold regular sessions every second week and will duly respond to requests both by the prosecution and defence at the ICTY.
