Funds for holding presidential elections approved

The Serbian government adopted at today's session the Decision on approving RSD 669,403,975 from the current budgetary reserves to Serbian parliament for holding elections for the president of the Republic on January 20 this year.
The government adopted the Bill on changes and amendments to the Law on expropriation.
The Bill on confirming the Agreement on the loan for additional financing of the project of transport reconstruction, signed between Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, was also adopted.
The government passed the Decree on the process of registration of citizens entitled to financial compensation and transfer of shares without compensation.
A Decree was passed on the process of registration of employees and former employees who have the right to transfer of shares without compensation.
The Decision on distribution of funds envisaged in the 2008 Serbian budget for realisation of the National Investment Plan was brought.
The government adopted the Information on the necessity for extending the temporary functioning of the reception centre for asylum seekers in Banja Koviljaca. This period has now been extended until March 31, 2008.
The government adopted the Programme for distribution and use of funds for loans to support the economy through the Serbian Development Fund for 2008.
Consent was given at the session to the business plan of the public company for bomb shelters for 2008.
The government passed a Decision on use of the coat-of-arms, flag, and national anthem of Serbia at sports events. The flag of the Republic of Serbia will be used at these events, and athletes’ uniforms will carry the small coat-of-arms. The national anthem will be presented through instruments, or song or both. The uniforms will be in the colours of the national flag – red, blue, white.
