Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic is in New York today where he will meet with ambassadors of UN Security Council countries at the UN headquarters and discuss the necessity of continuing talks on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says in a statement that Jeremic’s visit is part of diplomatic activities prior to the next UN Security Council session at which the issue of Kosovo-Metohija will be discussed.
During his stay in New York, the Minister will also hand over the Serbian government’s response to the report submitted by UNMIK Chief Joachim Ruecker, adds the statement.
