Serbia-Montenegrin parliamentary election to be held in February 2005, Kostunica says

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica told Novi Sad daily Dnevnik that Serbia-Montenegrin parliamentary election will be held in February 2005. Kostunica noted that the election will be a kind of a referendum, which he said is why some do not support the parliamentary vote.

According to Dnevnik, Podgorica has proposed a “Velvet Divorce”, but Belgrade believes that any unilateral attempt to retailor the state union without hearing the voice of people and acting in line with the Constitution and the Constitutional Charter is an anti-European move that is in violation of the law.
