Kostunica meets with athletes ahead of Athens Olympic Games

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with local athletes and teams that have qualified for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

Kostunica said that the country expects to receive good news from Greece, adding that the nation is well aware that a victory requires much trouble and patience. “That is why your success will be even dearer to us,” the Prime Minister said.
Kostunica wished the athletes luck and success at the Olympic Games, stressing that the Serbian government and the entire nation will support them during the entire event.
Serbian Minister of Sport Ljiljana Colic, Sport Administration Director Aleksandar Sostar and Serbia-Montenegrin Olympic Committee President Dragan Kicanovic also attended the meeting.
