Serbia advocates compromise solution for Kosovo acceptable for both sides

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic met today with ambassadors of the member states of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference, Arab League and African Union and informed them on the course of negotiating process on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija.
During the meeting Jeremic reiterated that Belgrade is against independence of Kosovo-Metohija and that it advocates finding a compromise and sustainable solution acceptable for both sides.
The Minister warned his collocutors of the danger of the precedent which would be made by unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo and its influence on international peace and order, which could immediately reflect on territorial integrity of other states in the world.
