Serbia, Slovakia sign agreement on development cooperation

Serbian Minister of Finance Mirko Cvetkovic and Slovakian Foreign Minister Jan Kubis signed today the Agreement on development cooperation which prescribes conditions under which Slovakia assigns financial assistance to Serbia from its aid fund ODA.

Concrete conditions and the amount of funds to be allocated will be defined by the Financial memorandum signed each year after the signing of the agreement.
So far, Slovakia has allocated to Serbia from this fund assistance in the amount of approximately €6 million, and main priorities of the development assistance are development of civic society, development of technical infrastructure and assistance to Serbia's EU integration.
