Serbia, Bulgaria sign agreement on economic cooperation

Serbian Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic and Bulgarian Economy and Energy Minister Peter Dimitrov signed an agreement on economic cooperation between the two countries.

The signing of this document provides continuity and conditions for further economic cooperation with Bulgaria after its EU accession.
The two countries will promote economic relations with activities aimed at development of cooperation, particularly in the areas of agriculture, forestry management, energy, research and development, civil engineering and SME sector.
Ministers Dinkic and Dimitrov especially emphasised the importance of energy projects (Juzni Potok and Niš-Dupnica), tourism cooperation (Stara Planina), and completion of section of Corridor 10 leading to the Bulgarian border.
