The Serbian government at its session today adopted the Report on the situation in homes for children and adults with special needs. The Report states that the report made by the NGO Mental Disability Rights International (MDRI) on the situation in institutions for psychiatric care in Serbia is inaccurate, due to which a false impression was created about these institutions.
The government passed a Decree on establishing the programme for innovational activities for 2007.
The government passed a Decree on amendments to the Decree on the conditions for settling debts of entities being privatised.
The government brought a Decision on forming a council for the integration of returnees on the basis of the agreement on readmission. Serbian Minister of Labour and Social Policy Rasim Ljajic will head the council.
The government passed a Decision on issuing treasury bills, to be issued on November 27, 2007.
