Djelic pointed out to the letter of Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi in favour of Serbia’s joining the White Schengen List.
Crucianelli congratulated the Deputy Prime Minister on Serbia’s initialling of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) and pointed out that Italy pledges for the signing of this document soon.
Djelic and Crucianelli agreed that it is necessary to increase the volume of investment of Italian companies in Serbia, especially of small and medium-sized, and to that end, a business delegation of Serbia will visit Italy in December.
The agreement was reached to increase the number of transport licences for Serbian trucks to 13,000 per year.
Crucianelli said that Italy supports European solution for Kosovo-Metohija and agreed with Djelic that the respect for the Dayton Accords is a guarantee for political stability in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
