Serbian Minister of Education Zoran Loncar and new German ambassador to Serbia Wolfram Maas agreed at today's meeting that Serbia and Germany have good cooperation in the field of education and voiced hope that it will continue to be so.
The two officials paid special attention to possibilities for opening a German school in Belgrade.
Loncar and Maas agreed that a Memorandum on improving teaching of the German language and advanced training of teachers should be signed as soon as possible.
The Serbian Minister of Education also spoke today with new ambassador of Australia to Serbia Clare Birgin on possibilities and forms of educational cooperation between the two countries.
As part of tomorrow's visit of the Australian assistant minister of education, concrete possibilities for cooperation between the two countries in the field of education will be looked at, it is added in the statement by the Serbian Ministry of Education.
