Serbian Minister of Infrastructure Velimir Ilic today opened for traffic a section of the Nis-Sofia highway 14 kilometres long from Nis to Niska Banja, whose construction cost € 31 million and which fulfils all international standards in road construction.
Ilic said that Serbia will continue to build raods on Corridor 10 towards the Macedonian and Bulgarian borders and added that the plan is that these works be finished in four years.
A tender will be called by the end of the month for continuation of construction of a highway towards the Bulgarian border, for which €390 million more should be set aside.
