The statement reads that members of the working group are representatives of the Ministry of Justice, State Prosecutor’s Office, judges of the Belgrade District Court’s Special Section for Organised Crime, professor from the Belgrade Faculty of Law, Special Prosecutor for Organised Crime, representative of the War Crimes Prosecution, president of the First Municipal Court in Belgrade and representatives of the Secretariat for Implementing Reforms in the Judiciary.
Also taking part in the drafting is the OSCE representative and legal advisor at the US embassy in Belgrade.
The working group should complete the working version of the law by December 20 this year when public debate on the draft law will be held.
The Ministry adds in the statement that it welcomes all proposals and suggestions regarding the law.
