The National Council for Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) brought the decision at its session today to submit documentation and respond to six demands by the Hague Tribunal’s prosecution, for the purposes of this court’s proceedings.
The National Council says in a statement that eight requests by the defence, which referred to documentation needed for preparation of indictees’ defence before the Hague Tribunal, were granted affirmative answers.
The National Council will in the upcoming period hold regular sessions every second week and will duly respond to requests of both the prosecution and defence at the ICTY.
