The US officials called on both sides in the negotiations to abstain from any one-sided moves and to fight for the solution only with diplomatic means.
After the meetings with Fried and Ansley, Djelic said that the US expect Serbia to sign the Agreement on encouraging investments soon and that they support the process of Serbia's European integration and cooperation within the Partnership for Peace programme.
The Serbian Deputy Prime Minister will continue his visit to the US by attending the annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where he will have several bilateral meetings with heads of these institutions and representatives of delegations of G8 member states.
