Bill on border security adopted

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the bill on border security and the bill on amendments to the privatisation law.
The government adopted the bill on official statistics and the bill on confirming the financial agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the project “Clinical Centres”.
The revised memorandum on budget and economic and fiscal policies for 2008, with projections for 2009 and 2010, was adopted at the session.
The Information on the need to sign two contracts for the project of constructing a ring-road around Belgrade was adopted. The government approved draft agreements on financing between the EIB and the public road company Putevi Srbije, and between the Republic of Serbia and the EIB for the project of constructing a ring-road around Belgrade.
The government adopted a Decree on awarding special recognition to artists who have made major contributions to Serbian national culture.
A Decree was adopted on distribution and use of incentive funds for supporting development of organic production for 2007, and the Decree on using incentive funds for introducing certification of agricultural practice according to demands of the GlobalGap for 2007, was also adopted.
The government passed the Decision on organisation and implementation of public works of interest to the Republic of Serbia in 2007, and which were reported during the time designated by the first deadline, September 10, 2007.
