Tender announced for co-financing projects for strengthening relations between motherland, diaspora

The Serbian Ministry of Diaspora stated that it has announced a tender for co-financing of projects which aim to improve and strengthen relations between the motherland and diaspora.
According to the statement, another aim of these projects is to cherish the identity of Serbs living abroad and their participation in politics, economy and the cultural life of Serbia. Through these projects Serbian traditions and culture will receive affirmation and the economic position of Serbs living in neighbouring countries will be improved.
Organisations of Serbs living abroad, NGOs, societies and associations whose seat is in Serbia have the right to compete at the tender. The tender will be open until November 15 2007, and all additional information may be obtained on the website of the Ministry of Diaspora.
