Serbian State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Igor Jovicic will participate in a meeting of defence and foreign affairs ministers of member countries of the American-Adriatic Charter and three Baltic countries which is to be held in Split tomorrow.
According to a statement by the Defence Ministry, the aim of the meeting is to improve regional cooperation in defence and security, above all through direct exchange of experience with member countries of the Partnership for Peace programme and NATO.
The American-Adriatic Charter is a regional initiative which basically aims to organise joint activities by countries of the West Balkans directed towards successful Euro-Atlantic integration, concludes the statement.
