The statement says that SIEPA is once again organising the participation of Serbian companies in this fair and adds that at the Serbian national stand the following companies will present their products: Agranela, Aroma, Marni, Foodland, Medoprodukt, Areks, Igda, Pionir, Art-Ival, Ulikses, Atle, Strela, ITN, Agrograf, Sikoberi and the Serbian business association of cold storage plants.
Serbia’s attractive national pavilion themed "Taste passion" will be divided into two sections – fancy and frozen foods, at which Serbian marmalades and jams, honey, fresh and preserved mushrooms, confectionery, spices and fresh, dried and frozen fruits will be presented.
The Anuga food fair is held every second year and gathers over 6,300 exhibitors from around 100 countries.
At the previous fair, Serbian companies signed seven contracts which in the long-term resulted in €5 million worth of exports. Serbian confectionery companies were particularly successful and Arabian countries showed considerable interest in them.
This year’s fair should bring about even more success to Serbian companies.
The participation of 16 Serbian companies at the fair is financed by the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the organisation was carried out by SIEPA with the technical support of the German Organisation for Technical Cooperation (GTZ).
