Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic talked today with OSCE Secretary-General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut about improvement of cooperation between Serbia and OSCE and the role of that organisation in Kosovo-Metohija.

The talks focused on the need to improve human rights of Serbs in Kosovo and creating conditions for the return of internally displaced persons.
Jeremic said that Serbian government advocates the continuation of direct negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina that would lead to a compromise solution and he pointed to the importance of respecting the Helsinki Final Act which contains principles on inviolability of borders of sovereign states.
