Serbian Minister of Education Zoran Loncar and Italian Ambassador to Serbia Alessandro Merola talked today on ways of removing administrative hurdles in issuance of visas to students from Serbia who opt to go to Italy on school trips.
According to a statement by the ministry, Loncar and Merola reached agreement that it is important that students are able to fulfill the desire to travel in Italy during the time for which the trip is planned and that this will be possible through cooperation between the ministry and the Italian embassy.
Other forms of cooperation in education between Serbia and Italy were also discussed at the meeting, which will be realised in accordance with the protocol on cooperation in education signed between the two countries, concludes the statement.
