In the talks with businessmen from Uzice, Cajetina, Pozega, Kosjeric and Bajina Basta, Djelic said that in the upcoming period, €3 billion to €5 billion will be used for maintenance of the existing and construction of new infrastructure.
Speaking about the project of sustainable development, he said that economic growth is expected to rise 7% this year, while in some other branches, such as civil engineering, it will exceed 50%.
Sustainable development is a way to develop our potentials more quickly, with respect for environment, he said and added that the government wants to achieve a balanced regional development through European budget and adequate local laws.
Djelic said that it is very important that Serbia harmonised the text of the Agreement on stabilisation and association with the European Union, because after it is signed, Serbian producers will have access to more EU funds.
