Serbia, Cyprus continue economic cooperation

Serbian Minister of Finance Mirko Cvetkovic and his Cypriot counterpart Michalis Sarris talked today about continuation of economic cooperation between the two countries.

The two officials agree to sign a contract of elimination of double taxation between Serbia and Cyprus, which would enable more efficient business operations and competitiveness of Serbian companies on Cyprus, as well as investments of Cypriot businessmen into the Serbian economy.
The Cypriot minister of finance related this country's experiences in introduction of new European rules in budget preparation, which is to prepare budget in current year for the next three years.
Minister Sarris offered expert assistance and cooperation to Serbia when it starts preparing budget in this way.
