Ilic presents award for best small entrepreneur in Pcinjski District

Serbian State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Vladimir Ilic presented today to the company Stefi Komerc from Vranje, the traditional award for the best small entrepreneur in Pcinjski District.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development this company currently employs 50 persons, and it is planned that 40 more jobs will be created. The award was established by the company British American Tobacco with the aim to encourage economic and social growth in the local community.
British American Tobacco is one of the most important foreign investors in Serbia, who with its programmes for encouraging the development of entrepreneurship, projects for environmental protection and social dialogue with representatives of local and state communities is making a major contribution to the implementation of international living standards in Serbia.
The company invested more than €100 million in the development of factories in Vranje and employs some 500 people in Serbia.
