The Serbian Ministry of Culture expressed grief for the death of Belgrade Mayor Nenad Bogdanovic.
With his work, Bogdanovic gave a great contribution to democratisation of whole society and development of the capital, and with him as mayor Belgrade was proclaimed the city of the future of Southern Europe.
We will remember him by many projects, his incredible energy and decisiveness. The death of Nenad Bogdanovic is irretrievable loss, and we shall cherish the remembrance of him by continuing the work he started and which was stopped with his early death,” reads a statement.
