NATO provides Serbia with information for locating cluster bombs

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs received from NATO information for locating cluster bombs dropped during the Alliance's 1999 bombing campaign against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
As the project of disarming the bombs is expected to be costly, financial help in the project from various countries and international organisations is expected.
It is believed that 1,080 cluster bombs were dropped on the territory of Serbia during the air strike campaign.
According to earlier reports, up to 23 square km of the Serbian territory is still cluster contaminated.
