Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic, who is participating in the 6th international investment forum in Sochi, said that Serbia’s priority economic issue in upcoming years is development of infrastructure.

Djelic said that the government will raise funds from the budget, private sources and concessions to implement the project of development of national infrastructure.
It is important to have institutional support for our projects and we must pick them carefully, Djelic said in a statement with Tanjug news agency.
According to him, it was valuable for the Serbian delegation to hear from Russian, Chinese and Japanese experts what are institutional prerequisites for infrastructure to develop in a best possible, efficient and transparent way.
Djelic is leading a delegation also comprising Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksandar Popovic, Minister of Trade and Services Predrag Bubalo and Minister of Finance Mirko Cvetkovic.
Today in Sochi, Djelic is due to meet with Krasnodar governor Aleksandr Tkachev to discuss possibilities for participation of the Serbian economy in preparations for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
