Serbia joins amended Kyoto Convention on the Simplification and Harmonisation of Customs procedures

The Serbian Ministry of Finance stated today that Serbia has joined the amended Kyoto Convention on the Simplification and Harmonisation of Customs procedures.
According to the statement, at a meeting of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) in Brussels Serbia signed an agreement with this organisation on introducing electronic WCO training in the public administration in Serbia.
During his visit to Brussels, Director of the Customs Administration Predrag Petronijevic met with heads of the WCO with whom he talked about the cooperation thus far as well as future cooperation, the process of modernisation, development of the customs service in Serbia, and further technical support by the WCO to the Customs Administration.
