Serbian soldiers, Ohio National Guard to have joint training

The Serbian Ministry of Defence stated that today at the Nis airport members of the Serbian army’s 63rd parachuting battalion and the Ohio National Guard will have a joint training.
The statement adds that also present at the exercise will be Serbian President Boris Tadic, Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac, US Ambassador to Serbia Cameron Munter, Chief of General Staff Major-General Zdravko Ponos and Commander of the Ohio National Guard Major General Gregory Wayt.
The state partnership programme began a year ago and the Serbian Army and the Ohio National Guard have since realised 19 joint activities in Serbia and Ohio, adds the statement.
