Djelic told the press after the meeting that representatives of the two delegations agreed that Serbia's debt to India in the amount of $10.6 million be paid off in the field of army, and that is why cooperation will be strengthened in that field, but also in the area of high technologies, biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry.
Speaking at a press conference, which was also attended by president of the Indjija municipality Goran Jesic, Djelic said that an agreement was reached with Indian companies on the construction of an IT park in Indjija spanning 200 hectares, which will create a large number of jobs.
The Indian Minister of State for External Affairs said that Serbia and India can have a profitable partnership and that they have great potential for strengthening cooperation.
