The Czech Republic is a significant exporter of mechanical industry products, transport equipment, chemical and agricultural products, which it mostly exports to countries of the European Union.
Also, the Czech Republic is a significant importer of those products as well, which gives Serbia an opportunity to sell its agricultural products there.
The leading Czech producers, after carrying out privatisation of the largest production complexes in the neighbouring countries, are willing to enter the markets of Serbia, Romania and Moldova, with the special accent on the production and processing of plum and its products.
The talks of Minister Milosavljevic and Gandalovic are part of the official visit of Serbian President Boris Tadic to the Czech Republic, at the invitation of Czech President Vaclav Klaus.
