This project is the result of Zamurovic’s stay in Lisbon and Veludo’s in Belgrade, where the two photographers took photographs of these two cities from the angle of nostalgia.
The exhibition, which is being held from September 14 to 28, is a promotion of Serbian cultural values, as well as European ideas and values, among the Serbian public.
Djelic said that such artistic projects bring different countries, cultures and people closer together.
The idea of finding similarities, through exchange of photographs, between Serbia and the country which is currently presiding over the EU, has yielded fruit, said Djelic. He added that such efforts will be continued.
He said that last night Portuguese Ambassador to Serbia Paulo Da Silva reassured him that Portugal will make efforts that Serbia and the EU initial the Stabilisation and Association Agreement by the end of the year.
Da Silva said that photographs by the two top photographers reveal that there are many similarities between Belgrade and Lisbon even though no one would say at first glance that the two cities are alike.
