Serbian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy sent its regular reports to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) on implementation of 14 conventions of the ILO which include monitoring standards in areas such as labour inspection, night work by the young, immigration of employed persons etc.
According to a statement by the ministry, Serbia has until now ratified 69 ILO conventions and is among the group of countries with the highest number of international legal standards adopted.
The Serbian government and the relevant Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, and social partners send regular reports to the ILO on implementation of conventions signed.
It is envisaged that by the end of November this year the ILO will be sent 16 more reports on implementation of conventions which concern the protection of marine workers and conditions of work on ships, concludes the statement.
