Serbia successfully completes SAA technical negotiations

The Serbian government negotiating team led by Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic has successfully ended today in Brussels the final round of technical negotiations on the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU.

During the negotiations, agreement was reached on the remaining items of the agreement – export of sugar and confectionery products, export of agricultural products, wine and protocols on ground traffic and trade liberalisation.
After the meeting in Brussels, Djelic said that this is a great success for the Serbian negotiating team and expressed belief that the SAA could be signed by the end of the year.
