Full EU membership strategic priority of Serbian government

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic reiterated today in talks with representatives of the Danish Parliament’s Foreign Policy Committee, led by its president Leland Beck that for Serbia the only acceptable solution to the Kosovo-Metohija status issue is one which is viable and based on compromise.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jeremic said that full membership in the EU is the strategic goal of the Serbian government.
He stressed that the Serbian Foreign Ministry has directed a large number of its activities to realise this goal, reads the statement.
