Kostunica, Agoston condemn inter-ethnic violence

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica talked today with President of Democratic Association of Vojvodina Hungarians Andras Agoston.
Kostunica condemned all ethnically motivated incidents and stressed that the Ministry of Interior revealed many perpetrators who will be punished in line with the law.
The Serbian Prime Minister pointed to the necessity of joint actions so as to prevent incidents and create the atmosphere of trust and tolerance.
Agoston said that those incidents that occurred must not be abused by any party.
He also expressed expectation that the Agreement between Serbia-Montenegro and Hungary on protection of ethnic minorities, which was ratified in the parliament of the state union, will improve inter-ethnic relations.
